Cloud engineer specialising in OpenStack to join our infrastructure team. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, operating and maintaining private cloud environments and hybrid platforms based on OpenStack, integrated with virtualisation, containerisation and automation technologies.

Responsibilities

• Design, plan and implement OpenStack-based private cloud environments.
• Integrate and manage container and Kubernetes environments in OpenStack.
• Automate deployments and configurations using Terraform, Ansible or other IaC tools.
• Manage KVM-based virtualisation environments, with experience in VMware/NSX-T being an advantage.
• Manage distributed storage and advanced networking.
• Implement and maintain monitoring and observability (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Zabbix, etc.).
• Ensure compliance with security, high availability and business continuity standards.
• Prepare technical documentation, implementation guides and operating procedures.
• Work closely with development, architecture and operations teams in the design and operation of cloud platforms.

Requirements

• 2-3 years of experience in implementing and operating OpenStack in production environments.
• Experience with automated IaC and CI/CD implementations.
• Experience in virtualised networks and distributed storage.
• Experience in monitoring and observability systems in production services.
• Ability to document and share knowledge with the team.
